Back in 2006, Eidos Interactive released Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: Party Edition for the PlayStation 2 and PC. It seemed like your standard, wholesome trivia game with host Chris Tarrant… until data miners started digging through the files.
Deep within the game’s code, they uncovered an official studio recording of Tarrant going completely off the rails, dropping the F-bomb, and roasting the player! It turns out, Tarrant recorded a joke insult during a long session in the booth, and a developer accidentally left the raw audio file right on the final retail disc. 🤦♂️
It’s exactly the kind of wild development blunder and bizarre gaming controversy we love digging up around here!
