Why this brutal game was BANNED (It’s not what you think)

Why was the 2006 Reservoir Dogs video game secretly recalled and briefly banned in the UK? 🐕🔫
Back in 2006, Eidos Interactive released a brutal, profanity-filled adaptation of Quentin Tarantino’s classic movie for the PS2, Xbox, and PC. Unsurprisingly, the game was slapped with a strict 18 age rating in the UK.
But there was one massive problem! Someone on the production team made a huge graphic design blunder and completely forgot to print the official 18 rating icon onto the actual Xbox physical discs. 🤦♂️ Selling a mature game without the proper legal age markings on the physical media is a massive legal no-no, forcing the publishers into a full-blown panic recall of the entire first print run before retail shops got fined into oblivion!
What is the craziest physical media blunder or game recall you know of? Let me know in the comments! 👇
