Childs Play Reboot In The Works

Ready for a reboot of the Childs Play movie franchise? Well its coming! Whether you’re a huge fan of old Horror movies or not, you’ve probably seen or at LEAST heard of the 1988 horror classic Childs Play. The My Buddy lookalike doll named CHUCKY is poised for a comeback, but this time it’s being reboot.

There’s 7 movies in the child’s play franchise, and whether this new reboot of the old classic will be darker or more comedic is currently UNKNOWN, cause the developers at MGM are not letting much info out yet.

Its being directed by a relatively unknown director, Lars Klevburg, and shooting is supposed to start in September in Vancouver. Once I get more news on the reboot, I’ll let yall know. I for one would like to see a more serious and darker Childs Play movie. They just got way too campy and its time to bring it back to what we got with the original movie. What do you guys think?
