“Celebrating 35 Years – The Story Of The AMSTRAD CPC 464 Through Its Most Important Games!”
On the 21st June 1984, exactly 35 years ago, the Amstrad CPC 464 was first made available to the public to buy at a Rumbelows store in Edgware Road, London. According to reports over 60 people were queuing for over an hour outside to get in and purchase one! Within an hour of the doors opening 100 had been sold. The CPC had arrived!!
From Harrier Attack and Roland On The Ropes, through Get Dexter and Sorcery, to it’s last commercial releases in Lemmings and Prehistorik II – tonight we’ll explore its wonderful gaming history!
