The subgenre of uber-hard indie platformers has gone through a few twists and turns in the past few years, but games like VVVVVV – alongside Super Meat Boy, Dustforce and others – are taking it out of the realms of woeful Flash gaming and into the glorious light of indie acceptability and street cred.
