⭐️💣 “Bomb Jack GX” 💣⭐️
🕹️ The GX4000 version of “Bomb Jack Extra Sugar Edition”! 🕹️

Last year Anthony Flack stunned the retro gaming world with his near arcade perfect port of “Bomb Jack” to the Amstrad CPC, subtitled the “Extra Sugar Edition” because of all it’s extra amazing content, and it was absolutely amazing. Delighting not just Amstrad owners, but fans of Bomb Jack across all retro systems who took great joy in playing it through all its modes of play and trophy hunting! So Anthony has a surprise for you all tonight! He’s been working in secret and now has a full colour Amstrad GX4000 console version!! The only sacrifice on the Extra Sugar Edition was the colours, using the CPC’s 4 colour ‘Mode 1’ graphics and clever stippling, so now we can play the same game but in lots of glorious colours and with hardware sprites! Anthony has further improved his code, tweaking it even closer to the arcade coin-op original and locking it in at 50FPS with no slowdown. (Although no ‘Extra Sugar’ additions on this version, just the pure ‘arcade mode’ is the compromise to fit it into the GX’s smaller memory.) And the Amstream has the exclusive launch party for it tonight! Anthony will release the ROM file for everyone during the stream whilst we show it off and play it. I can’t wait and it’s sure to be a blast!!
