[AMSTRAD CPC] ⚡️AMSTREAM 🕹️ 3 NEW Amstrad Games! “Xevious 128K”, “Metal Slug Mini” & “S.D.O.”! ⭐️

Tonight on the AMSTREAM we have THREE NEW Amstrad games!…

🚀 “Xevious 128K” 🚀
🔫 “Metal Slug Mini” 💥
🚀 “S.D.O. Star Defense Operation” 🚀

So we have 3 NEW Amstrad games to look at tonight, and we begin with a homebrew remake of an early arcade coin-op classic “XEVIOUS” (128K)! From the ‘Easter Egg’ team, who previously worked wonders remaking “R-Type” many years ago now! This time it’s the grandaddy of vertically scrolling shumps Xevious, the one that started it all! The original official Amstrad conversion was at best ‘OK’ but this is something special… almost arcade perfect! Next up is “Metal Slug Mini”! Now this isn’t of course a full port of the classic game, but the first release from Astharoth, and a technical exercise demonstrating what can be done using his new ‘Retrodev’ coding tool in this single screen shooter. However with thanks to Titan and Estrayk for the wonderful graphics and music, this is a simple but fun blaster! Lastly we have “S.D.O. Star Defense Operation” the first Amstrad game from Xevimet4l, and it’s a cool and fun ‘Galaxian’ style shooter!
