Eddie Murphy’s sequel Coming To America 2 is finally going to be made. Eddie Murphy is finally on board for a Coming To America 2 movie. And According to Collider.com, Paramount Pictures is moving forward with hiring the original writers as well to work on a new script.

Waddup to my Peoples!
The original Coming to America was a big hit, and earned $128.1 million during its box office run in 1988.
It was the third highest-grossing movie of that year behind Who Framed Roger Rabbit? ($156.4 million) and Best Picture winner Rain Man ($172.8 million).
As much as I’d love to see a sequel to the original, it has to bring back John Amos, and I’d love to see James Earl Jones reprise his role as Joffe as well.
And after all the work Akeem took to find his perfect wife, I hope he doesn’t start the new movie divorced.
There is no indication when production may begin on this sequel, or when Paramount may release the movie, but when I get more information, ill let you guys know.
And next up, Sabrina The Teenage With is going to be reboot by Netflix, but its not going to be based on the TV show from 1996.
No, this new version is going to be dark, and will delve more into the occult, and have Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature of being half-witch and half-mortal.
So think .. somewhere between American Horror Story and Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
The Title for the series is Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which happens to be the name of the recent Archie Comic of the same name.
And if that comic is any indicator, this new series will be pretty damn dark.
And Onto some RETRO Gaming News!
The Atari VCS was finally announced with a new pre-order date and if you go over to indiegogo, you will be able to put in your preorders starting May 30th.
And just to remind you what the Atari VCS is. Its Atari’s new console that’s meant to break into the casual gaming console market in spring of 2019.
The VCS will be a “full PC experience for the TV, bringing you streaming, applications, social, browsing, music, and more.”
and will come with many of the classic atari games, right out the box and be able to play tons of more modern games. According to their website.
They also listed the price tag at 200.00 bucks, which is lower than I had first believed it was going to run.
And heres some of the things we do know about the system.
If you pre-order, you get a time-limited Collector’s Edition featuring a classically-inspired wood-front. The other option is all black and red.
The console will come with a joystick, but you can also purchase it with a xbox style controller.
Although from the specs, the Atari VCS wont be a real powerful gaming console, it could be on par with the likes of a descent modern laptop without a keyboard.
So, That means that it likely won’t be able to handle many of the more demanding modern-day video games.
So far, im not very impressed, cause Atari still has not really show the public exactly what were getting. Maybe we will get more footage and learn more about it after the preorder.
