MSX 2 Game Spotlight – Laydock

The MSX 1 standard was popular, especially in Japan & Europe, so the next-generation MSX 2 launched with a major upgrade in graphics. In this series, I’ll play & look at the MSX 2 games in my collection to show what the system could do. In this episode, we look at another shoot-em-up called Laydock by T&E Soft. The first game in a series of three that ends up covering the majority of the MSX platforms. The music in this one can get a little repetitive, but there is more to the game than it first appears.
