Tonight on the AMSTREAM we have FOUR new* Amstrad games!…

*That we missed looking at in 2025! So we’re making amends tonight!!

So we have 4 new Amstrad games that we didn’t get round to covering last year, first up is Chris Perver’s upgrading of the Amsoft classic “Oh Mummy” into a “Resurrected” version, for the Amstrad Plus machines! (We didn’t initially cover this because it’s been an ongoing work in-progress and Chris never confirmed a ‘final version’ but it seems he has moved on now!). Now with recoloured hardware sprites and lots of new stuff to find, let’s see what we discover in these Egyptian tombs… 2nd game we have “Longato”, which roughly translates to ‘Long cat’ from Spanish – a simple but very fun puzzle game where you control a lazy cat trying to fill in all the spaces within a box! Based on the game “Longcat” by Swedish developer Martin Magni, and converted by a group of Spanish retro computing enthusiasts who host a yearly gaming convention in Parla, Spain. Our last 2 games both come from that crazy Japanese coder Inufuto who likes to create a game then port it for over a hundred different retro computers and consoles! Tonight we have “Mazy2” (a simple but fun maze game but on multiple level heights) and “Mieyen” (a maze chase game with a twist – shoot the hidden ghosts trying to steal your burgers!). Looking forward to checking them all out!

It’s my birthday this weekend! So I’ll be playing some of my favourite Amstrad games. Call it a test of how well you actually know me! 😁 Either way, should be all good Amstrad games all night!
