🕹️ The games of… “BOLLAWARE”! 🕹️

In a new series, we’re shining a spotlight on Amstrad homebrew developers and their games! The Amstrad homebrew scene definitely needs more support and love! Especially games from the past, they shouldn’t be lost and forgotten. So we’re starting off with one of the very first who began all the way back in 1988… BOLLAWARE! A German team of Roland Barthel (aka Doc Bartoc) on coding and Sigurd Fauser (aka Uncle Siggi) on graphics, who produced many games, utilities and demos up until their most famous release, the gorgeous Street Fighter II style game – “Fres Fighter II” in 1995! They’re not celebrated and talked about nearly enough, which is the point and reason for starting this series – giving these developers more ‘spotlight’ and love! So tonight we’ll be looking at 12 of their completed games and checking them out! There’s definitely some very special gems here…
