The FIFA World Cup 2026 is currently thrilling us in it’s knockout stages, and whilst the nations that most supported the Amstrad (England, France & Spain) are still in it – I thought it’s a good time to check out all the footy games that have been released for the Amstrad! The good AND the bad… and believe me, there were many rubbish ones!! However, there were some surprisingly decent ones too…

The last time we did a football (soccer) Amstream was 8 years ago so I think enough time has passed now! For the best games, later on we’ll have our own ‘Amstrad World Cup’ and do a little ‘knockout’ style tournament of voting to see who wins the final (and best game) like we did last time! And if anyone fancies playing one of the games online in 2 player – feel free to challenge me!
