First up, influenced by those popular ‘endless runner’ games is “MoonRN”, a lovely looking and sounding game from Snauts. However he prefers to call his game a ‘parkour platformer’! And it’s not endless, because the game is broken up into 18 levels, with 4 difficulty modes. So there’s an end game and achievement to aim for! Second up tonight is the latest game and welcome return of The Mojon Twins with “Impossamal”! With you trying to control a bouncing ball down a tunnel filled with spikes, enemies and traps whilst trying to collect 10 cylinders. It’s actually very similar to Hewson’s “Impossaball” (1987) but looks a lot more fun and much faster! Lastly our third game looks to be a simple puzzler called “Master Piece” from Tartessos Games, but is anything but! Move the pieces on the board like in chess, but make a capture with each move and make sure you finish with only one piece left! Later levels will challenge even the grand masters!
